At Driving School of Florida, we value diversity and are committed to providing accommodations to administer the road test in any language.
In Office Knowledge Skills Test
14 1/2-17 years old: Exam is available online.
You will still need to visit your local tax collector/DMV office to get your actual restricted license. Fees will need to be paid and documentation will be needed to prove address and identity before restricted license is issued.
In office Knowledge Skills Exam is available at our Bradenton and Lutz locations.
There is a $10 retake fee if this is not the first time taking the knowledge skills test.
All applicants are subject to random selection for re-examination at the drivers license or tax collector office prior to issuance of any license. Failure to pass the random re-exam will require the applicant to pass the knowledge skills exam prior to license issuance.

In Office Road Skills Exam

You must have a valid Florida learner's permit to take the road test.

If you are under 18, you must have held the permit for at least 365 days, and a parent/guardian must accompany you to the DMV to get your license.

There is a $20 retake fee, additional to the exam fee, if you have already failed a road test anywhere else.

This is just for the exam. A visit to your local tax collectors office or DMV is still needed to get your actual driver's license.
